Dr. Bogard truly made a difference in my life after a difficult knee replacement. I was feeling lost and unsure of what to do, especially since I didn't want to return to the original surgeon. He showed genuine compassion, took the time to listen and explain my situation, which really helped to ease my anxiety. Dr. Bogard was attentive, detailed, and thorough. He took his time evaluating my imaging, performed a comprehensive exam, and clearly explained what was happening with my knee. I appreciated that he laid out three clear options, explaining the benefits and risks of each one.

I’m blessed to have Dr. Bogard as my physician. He’s made all the right calls along the way and completely rebuilt my shattered ankle in a very long and complicated procedure. Dr. Bogard did a fabulous job of fixing my broken wrist, put me on a good program to rehab after surgery and understood my need to be able to play tennis again. I unfortunately recently fractured my left ankle and visited Dr. Bogard for my care. I was very impressed with the speed, service, and quality of care I received. Dr. Bogard made sure to include all of the pertinent information regarding treatment options and gave me the best choice for my current situation and long-term goals. He even performed surgery on my left ankle and my recovery has been excellent. Dr. Bogard is an excellent orthopedic surgeon that I would recommend to anyone looking for an orthopedic and sports medicine physician.

Reached out to inquire about a knee surgery for my mother in law and the experience with Dr. Bogard and his office was exceptional. Very responsive and excellent communication. He’s Scripps affiliated so he could access her MyChart info very easily, and was able to work with her Medicare. He operated on her broken knee and while it was of course a very tough situation, we couldn’t have asked for better care throughout. Thanks Dr. Bogard!

Dr. Bogarde saved my knee. I tore my meniscus playing sports and after examination, he took the time to carefully explain my options so that I could confidently make the right decision. He even forewarned me of possible choices he would have make during surgery if the unexpected happened. The team at the office were friendly, professional and efficient - navigating insurance challenges, schedules and consultations. My physical therapist has told me that I’m healing faster than most - I’m sure this is because of his skill as a surgeon. Can’t recommend Dr. Bogarde highly enough.
