Dr. Michael Bogard is deeply committed to delivering personalized and high-quality orthopedic care. With a patient-centered approach, he focuses on tailoring treatment plans to meet the unique needs and goals of each individual. His dedication to excellence is evident in his comprehensive expertise across sports medicine, joint arthroplasty, shoulder surgery, and advanced orthobiologics. Dr. Bogard combines cutting-edge techniques with compassionate care, ensuring that every patient receives the most effective and individualized treatment for their specific condition.
Dr. Bogard is originally from Huntington Beach, CA. He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of San Diego, where he also played football for the Toreros. He then went on to earn his medical degree at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine where he graduated in the top 5% of his class.
After residency, Dr. Bogard completed a fellowship in Sports Medicine at Washington University in St. Louis, where he had the privilege of learning from some of the great academic leaders in Sports Medicine and was part of the medical staff for professional and collegiate sports teams including the NHL Blues, MLS City Soccer team, XFL Battlehawks, and Washington University athletics.
Dr. Bogard currently serves the local San Diego community as part of the medical staff for the University of San Diego Toreros and the Torrey Pines High School Falcons.
